Co-Equal Utah launched ahead of the 2026 legislative session, focused on protecting Utah's courts from political interference. In our first year, 674 Utah attorneys signed our letter to every member of the Legislature, lawyers testified at the Capitol on bills restructuring the courts, and the New York Times, RadioWest, and nearly every local paper have covered our work.
Join the Co-Equal Utah board and special guests for an evening at Squatters. We'll talk about what this year revealed about the pressure on Utah's judiciary, and we'll share our plans for 2027 and the work ahead to keep the courts fair, independent, and answerable to the Constitution alone.
